Photopass

We’ve been to WDW several times since they started doing the photopass thing, and while we’ve tried it a few times, we’ve never bought the pictures or cd. The price just never felt like it was a very good deal, especially considering we took many pictures ourselves with our own cameras that were equal if not better. However, I like the concept, just not the price.

Recently the thought occurred to me that I’ve never seen the photopass photographers outside the 4 major parks, and the water parks. It just seems to me that having the photographers come to each resort 2 or 3 times a week at a minimum would be something guests might enjoy. I know I would, and it might convince me to actually buy the cd, might. While we’re at our resort, we’ll usually take at least a half dozen pictures. We will also visit at least one other resort while we’re at WDW and take more pictures there. So, what gives? Have I just missed seeing the photopass guys at the resorts and other areas or are they just in the parks. And, if so, then will somebody call Disney and tell them we want more opportunities for photos at the resorts and other areas. Because, there are many, many great photo spots outside the parks as well.

Update: I’ve heard from a couple of people that  they do send photopass photographers to the Deluxe resorts, but I’ve yet to hear anything about the Moderate and Values. If they don’t, they should.
